We are thrilled to announce that BCG has been awarded a $3,200 grant from the Branford Community Foundation to help support the Seed, Weed and Feed program in 2026. The funds cover lumber and hardware to rebuild four of the SWF beds, seedlings, seeds, fertilizer, and protective netting, replacement and purchase of shared-use tools for the garden, Adopt-a-Plot recognition signage, and production of printed materials used to promote the program and recognize sponsors during community events and plant sales. This grant will help BCG continue to support our Branford neighbors in need by providing fresh, locally grown produce through funding of the operations of the SWF program.
